The 2012 SPRINGCON is this weekend!

Hey comics fans!

This weekend is the 24th Annual MCBA SPRINGCON! Held in the Grandstand at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The show runs Sat-Sun, 10am-5pm both days. Follow this link for more info.

I'll be in attendance both days, as well as participating in a panel on Saturday--

Saturday May 19

12PM to 1PM: BUY LOCAL - Meet local up and coming comic book superstars Mitch Gerads (The Activity,  Dr. Who, Planet of the Apes),  Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters),  Jim Clark & CJ Renner (Colliders).  A candid discussion about getting started and building success in the zany world of comic books one panel at a time!  INSPIRING!

• At my table I will be selling copies of The ACTIVITY from IMAGE Comics, The CON SEASON EXCLUSIVE Variant of The ACTIVITY #4 (Only 200 printed), A few Planet of the Apes issues, Original art (from The ACTIVITY, Doctor WHO, and more), and I will be doing sketches/commissions...

                              Full body............$60

• Sketch prices are based on a single character. All sketches done on 9x12 Bristol or 9x12 chip board in pencil and ink. Done on a First come First-Serve basis.
• I can now accept all major credit cards!
• I will also have a very limited number of the awesome new The ACTIVITY T-shirts. When I say limited I mean I will have 1 Medium and 1 Large of the Helicopter design and that's it. American Apparel!

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY Appearance!

      It might be my favorite "holiday" of the year. This Saturday, May 5th is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! A day where everyone is welcome at their local neighborhood comic store to nab some free comics from tons of different publishers.  My favorite part of the day is there's PLENTY of free comics geared towards the whole family. So pack up the kids, the husband, or the wife and head out to the local comic shop!

I personally will be signing books at the all new Comic College in Minneapolis, MN! (12pm-4pm)

All New, you say? Where  did it move to, you ask? About 15 feet away from the old one!

Come get some free comics, buy some others, check out the HUGE all new store, AND come see me!

I'll be signing books, selling original art pages, The Con Exclusive variant to The ACTIVITY #4, and doing head/bust sketch commissions for a discounted $25 on 9x12 Bristol (I also have a number of Marvel sketch covers available if that's your thing). **I'll also be doing quick FREE little sketch cards for kids (while supplies last) in honor of FCBD!**
